Engage employees whilst boosting the face of HR

Have you heard of the halo effect? Appearance can influence people’s perception of all other attributes. If food looks good then we assume it will be tasty. If it looks bad then we assume it wont.

Brands are similar. Poor branding gives a perception of lack of care. It suggests that employees are less important than customers (you’d never let marketing throw together a quick brand strategy).

So, make sure whoever looks after your brand and comms has the skill and focus to make them count. And to enhance your reputation with the quality that employees expect.

That’s where I can help.

Build strong comms through a better employee understanding

Employees go through a lot of change at work. Initiatives come and go, values change, and systems get updated. The trouble is, change is tiring. But done right, it can feel a lot easier.

The key to successful HR communications is this:

• A strong impact analysis, considering all emotional factors •

• A strategic plan to help employee understanding •

• Quality communications that drive behaviour •

Approach change the right way. Work with me and I’ll help deliver comms built around the employee.

I led communications for one of the highest profile HR change projects of the last decade. It meant a huge change for employees and a massive challenge for the client.

I created a layered plan, designed to use empathy to drive change. We helped leaders understand the impact to them, before using that experience to better support employees.

The result? All employees signed the new terms and it won four industry awards.

Just a few ways I can help

launch a new initiative

Delivering a new system or initiative means changing employee habits. I can use an understanding of employee behaviour to nudge them in the right direction and drive engagement.

GUIDE employees through change

HR transformation projects can be complex. I can assess the emotional impact of the change and create a tactical plan to guide employees, using psychology to maximise success.
