I use psychology and empathy to change behaviour

Communications are about changing behaviour. Which takes more than just an ability to write. In fact, to deliver change you need to understand people - their reactions, expectations, and what makes them tick.

The secret? Combining these three factors:

1. Empathy

Understand the employee viewpoint and their motivations.

2. Psychology

Use knowledge of behaviour to drive the right outcomes.

3. MARKETING

Engage employees with emotionally appealing tactics.

Simon Andrew, the man behind Me[plural]

Man on a mission

After over a decade of consulting, I decided to go freelance. I created a brand driven by one simple principle:-

When we make decisions about groups, we do so rationally. Yet when we deal with individuals, we treat them with greater emotional awareness.

We need to remember that people aren’t rational. And that a group is just a collection of individuals. Through this premise we can start to build a better employee experience, for everyone.

It’s my mission to bring humour, emotion and personality to the employee-employer relationship. That’s what Me[plural] stands for.

I don’t like to brag, but…

I’ve won seven awards and appeared on the judging panel at the UK Employee Experience awards.

I specialise in launching new initiatives, previously setting up a team that launched 100+ per year.

I have a strong background in reward and benefits, recognition and employee experience.

I have three values:

Be awesome | Me plural

BE AWESOME

Be bold in your ideas. Break expectations, challenge the norm and shake things up. Each idea is as strong as the backbone behind it.

Be authentic | MePlural

BE AUTHENTIC

Be honest and true. Don’t try to please everyone, but be trustworthy, respectful and dependable – that is enough.

Be kind | Me plural

BE KIND

Be thoughtful and considerate, always. Use empathy to understand perspectives and be mindful of the people, animals and world beyond our walls.
